vértigo (Del lat. vertīgo, -ĭnis, movimiento circular).
1. m. Med. Trastorno del sentido del equilibrio caracterizado por una sensación de movimiento rotatorio del cuerpo o de los objetos que lo rodean.
2. Med. Turbación del juicio, repentina y pasajera.
3. Apresuramiento anormal de la actividad de una persona o colectividad.
vértigo de la altura. m. Psicol. Sensación de inseguridad y miedo a precipitarse desde una altura o a que pueda precipitarse otra persona.
